The SA First Jurisdiction Women’s Conference held in Mpumalanga Province this year proved to be an extraordinary event, filled with inspiration, empowerment, and spiritual renewal. Hosted by The Word Church Of God in Christ in Makoko Village, under the leadership of Pastor Themba Mawayi and Lady Kgomotso Mawayi.
Supervisor Mama Esther Khokong, alongside her devoted assistants, First Assistant Mama Tintswalo Munyuku and 2nd Mama Patricia Magwati, the conference unfolded over three impactful days from the 22nd to the 24th of March 2024. With the theme “Our Position and Calling,” from Colossians 3:12-15.
The conference featured an array of enriching workshops tailored to address key aspects of women’s lives and spiritual growth. These workshops look into essential topics such as Raising Up the Child, Friends Internally (within the church); and Friends Externally (Friends outside church).
Distinguished speakers graced the platform each day: Mrs. Pinky Matsepe kicked off the conference on the first day, Supervisor Mama Esther Khokong took centre stage on the second day, imparting her wealth of experience and spiritual guidance. Finally, the conference culminated with an inspiring message from Administrative Assistant Pastor VR Munyuku, leaving hearts aflame with passion and purpose.
The impact of the conference reverberated far beyond the venue, with many souls touched, lives transformed, and people healed by the power of God’s love and grace.
