Acting Treasurer

Masefantshi Emily Mahlaba, serves as the Acting Treasurer for the South Africa First Jurisdiction. She is a dedicated member of Tabernacle Church Of God In Christ in Ivory Park, under the spiritual guidance of Pastor David and Lady Valerie Mohlake.
Mrs. Mahlaba assumed her role as Jurisdictional Treasurer in October 2022, appointed by Bishop Vincent Mathews. In her capacity as Acting Treasurer, Mrs. Mahlaba manages the financial aspects of the Jurisdiction, overseeing payments, receipts, and reporting. Her commitment to the financial well-being of the church reflects her passion for contributing to the growth and success of the South Africa First Jurisdiction.
Mrs. Mahlaba’s journey as a born-again Christian began in October 2002, marking a significant moment in her spiritual life. Since then, her faith has been a guiding force in her personal and professional endeavors.
Married to Joseph Mahlaba, Mrs. Mahlaba is blessed with two boys. Family holds a special place in her heart, and her commitment to her role as a wife and mother is evident in her life.
Her favorite Bible verse, Nahum 1:7, serves as a source of inspiration: “The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.” This verse encapsulates Mrs. Mahlaba’s trust in God and her reliance on His goodness in all aspects of her life.
