District Superintendent

District Superintendent Thabang Maapola was appointed by Bishop Vincent Mathews in 2019 to oversee the churches within the Head Quarters district. This district comprises seven churches, with five located in Gauteng Province, one in Limpopo Province, and another in Mpumalanga Province in Nelspruit.

As the District Superintendent, Pastor Maapola’s key responsibilities include ensuring unity, overseeing district activities, addressing grievances, and chairing strategic meetings. The district’s vision is centered around fostering growth, stability, and compliance within local churches and jurisdictional events.
The short-term goal of Head Quarters district is to mobilize and organize local churches to provide assistance within the community. The overarching vision is to achieve growth and stability in the local churches while maintaining compliance within the district and jurisdiction.
Pastor Maapola serves as the Senior Pastor of Righteous Faith Temple COGIC, based in Kaalfontein, Gauteng Province.
Pastor Maapola briefly studied Mercantile Law and Business Management. He has been actively involved in industrial relations work since 2022.
Happily married to Rosinah Maapola, they are blessed with four children, three boys, and one girl.
