The Jurisdictional Supervisor is the Senior Mother of the Jurisdiction appointed by the Jurisdictional Bishop and ratified and trained by the General Supervisor’s Office. The Jurisdictional Supervisor (Not the Bishop’s Wife) is a Woman that is seasoned, mature and Biblically sound that can lead and inspire the Women of the jurisdiction. The Jurisdictional Supervisor appoints a cabinet of executive women (Assistants, Secretary, Treasurer, Advisors) that can help to empower, encourage and ignite Women in the Jurisdiction. The Jurisdictional Supervisor reports to and supports the vision of the Jurisdiction. They work closely with the District Missionaries and Church Mothers. The Jurisdictional Supervisor with advise from her the women of the jurisdiction should implement programs that best assist the ministry of the Jurisdiction to better the lives of Women and Children (SEE Women’s Handbook) Additionally, the Jurisdictional Supervisor oversees the annual Women’s Convention that is a jurisdictional event that features women and instructs them to engage in true ministry. The Jurisdictional Supervisor licenses Evangelist Missionaries after going through the process of training. The Bishop and Supervisor decide together how that training will be formulated.
