Assistant Secretary

Elder Moiloa Mothobi assumed the role of Assistant Secretary for the South Africa First Jurisdiction on the 8th of October 2023, appointed alongside Elder Reckson Mahori by Bishop Mathews to serve in the Jurisdiction’s Secretary office. In this capacity, Elder Mothobi collaborates with the Secretary in maintaining an active roster of the Jurisdiction’s Credential holders, including pastors, elders, ministers, churches, district missionaries, evangelist missionaries, and appointed department heads.
Elder Mothobi plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of data related to the jurisdiction. He ensures effective communication and collaboration. Facilitating the licensing and credentialing processes for individuals engaged in the ministry of the church.
In addition to his responsibilities within the Jurisdiction, Elder Mothobi serves as an Assistant Pastor at Evangelical Ministries International COGIC. In this capacity, he actively supports the senior pastor in the day-to-day operations of the ministry, with a special focus on engaging with the youth of the local church.
Born and raised in Lesotho, Butha-Buthe, Elder Mothobi holds a diploma in Water and Environmental Engineering. His previous professional experience includes working as a project officer for rural water supply. He is also the founder of MVM Gardens.
Elder Mothobi finds strength and encouragement in Hebrews 13:5, where the promise assures that God will never leave nor fail him. His commitment to service, both within the church and the broader community, reflects his dedication to making a positive impact.
Elder Mothobi is happily married to his wife, Masebafo Mothobi, and together, they navigate life’s journey with faith and resilience.
